Hand Dyed Yarn // Museum of Play on Classic Sock // ROCLove Collection
The color Museum of Play is part of the ROCLove yarn collection inspired by all things Rochester. This hand dyed yarn is available on my Classic Sock yarn base, a 75% / 25% super wash Merino wool / nylon fingering weight yarn.
The Museum of Play is a whimsical colorway inspired by one of my favorite Rochester treasures, The Strong National Museum of Play. Part of the ROCLove yarn collection, inspired by my favorite places around our flower city.
As with all hand dyed yarn variation between skeins is normal and expected. Always rotate your skeins every few rows to ensure the perfect blend of color.

Don’t let the name fool you, Classic Sock is the ideal choice for much more than just socks! This resilient and timeless base combines the best balance of softness and strength by pairing strong nylon with extra fine merino wool for a pill resistant yarn that is unbelievably soft. The round structure of this 4-ply yarn will render incredible stitch definition and give beautiful structure to your work. Classic Sock is a must have for every yarn stash!
Hand wash in cool water with a wool safe detergent such as Eucalan. Lay flat to dry. It is normal for some color to bleed from hand dyed yarns when washed. Cold water will help prevent this.
